Description

RaptorForms is a data management platform designed for agricultural companies to collect, process, and analyze field information in real time. The system enables agronomists and decision-makers to monitor productivity, environmental conditions, and resource usage through intuitive digital forms and dashboards.

Role & Contributions:

• Developed and maintained Django-based backend services for data ingestion, validation, and synchronization from mobile field devices.

• Integrated PostGIS for spatial data processing and geolocation analytics, improving the accuracy of land and crop monitoring.

• Built dynamic Vue.js interfaces for data visualization and form management, ensuring seamless offline-to-online workflows.

• Deployed and scaled the platform on AWS EC2, with storage and querying optimized through AWS RDS and AWS Athena.

• Implemented Redis caching layers to enhance performance and reduce API response times for high-volume data operations.

Impact: Improved data collection efficiency for agricultural teams, enabling faster decision-making and deeper insights into crop health, field performance, and resource optimization.
